W5 - DC Link Voltage High fault in danfoss drive

Cause: The DC link voltage is higher than the upper voltage warning limit. This can be a precursor to an overvoltage fault.
Solution:
  • Check if the mains supply voltage is consistently high.
  • If the fault occurs during deceleration, it may be due to regenerative energy from the motor. Consider increasing the deceleration time or installing a brake resistor.
