AUE2 Auto-Tuning: Data Error fault in delta drive

AUE2 Auto-Tuning: Data Error fault in delta drive troubleshooting

Description

AUE2 occurs when the measured values from the auto-tune are logically impossible or vary wildly from the standard motor model. The drive rejects the result.

Causes

1. Wrong Nameplate Data: You entered Rated Current = 10A, but the motor is actually 2A. The drive sees resistance values that don't match the entered power.
2. High Inductance: Long motor cables add inductance that skews the reading.
3. Motor Type: Trying to tune a PM motor while in IM (Induction Motor) mode.

Solution

Data entry verification:
1. Re-enter Data: Go to Group 01 or 05. Strictly verify kW, Voltage, Hz, RPM, and Amps.
2. Uncouple Load: If doing rotational tuning, high friction can cause AUE2. Uncouple the gearbox.
3. Static Tune: Switch to "Static Tuning" (Non-rotational) if the cables are very long.
