E-45 PM Motor Tuning Data fault in Toshiba drive

E-45 PM Motor Tuning Data Error fault in Toshiba drive

Description Similar to E-21 for induction motors, E-45 is specific to PM motors. It means the Auto-Tune results are physically impossible for a PM motor (e.g., Lq inductance is lower than Ld inductance in an IPM motor, or resistance is zero). Causes
1. Wrong Motor Type: You are trying to tune a Surface Mount (SPM) motor using Interior Mount (IPM) parameters.
2. Cable Impedance: Tuning through an output filter or reactor.
3. Temperature: Tuning a very hot motor. Solution PM tuning is delicate. Ensure you have entered the exact "Back EMF Constant" (Ke) or "Rated Voltage" from the datasheet.

Bypass any output reactors or filters during the tuning process.

If auto-tuning fails repeatedly, request the "Ld", "Lq", and "R" values from the motor manufacturer and enter them manually into the parameters, then disable Auto-Tune.
