EF4 External Fault 4 fault in delta drive troubleshooting

Description

The fourth user-definable external safety trip. On complex machines, EF1 might be E-Stop, EF2 Vibration, EF3 Fire, and EF4 might be assigned to "Auxiliary Pump Trip" or "Door Open".

Causes

1. Peripheral Trip: An auxiliary device connected to Digital Input 4 (or whichever input is mapped to EF4) has opened/closed.
2. Wiring: Broken wire on the safety loop.

Solution

Trace wiring:
1. Identify Input: Check Group 02 to find the terminal mapped to EF4.
2. Reset Peripheral: Reset the external switch/sensor.
3. Bypass: If the sensor is faulty, temporarily bridge the terminal to Common (DCM) if it's N.C. logic.
