Err 14.0 Over-current protection fault in panasonic drive

Cause: Current exceeded the rated limit significantly. Common causes: Short in motor wiring, grounded motor phase, or IGBT failure.

Remedy:

• Critical Test: Disconnect motor cables (U, V, W) and turn Servo ON. If error occurs immediately, the Driver is faulty (IGBT short).
• If error occurs only when motor is connected: Check for short circuits between U-V, V-W, U-W.
• Measure insulation resistance of motor to ground (Earth).
• Check if the mechanical load is jammed or brake is not releasing.
