OPE2 Parameter Range Error fault in delta drive
OPE2 Parameter Range Error fault in delta drive troubleshooting
Description
OPE2 is a general parameter relationship error. It indicates that a parameter is set to a value that is valid on its own, but invalid when combined with other current settings (e.g., upper limits vs. lower limits).
Causes
1. Limits Crossed: The "Upper Bound Frequency" is set lower than the "Lower Bound Frequency".
2. PID Conflict: PID upper limit is lower than the lower limit.
3. Pulse Output: The PG card pulse output scaling is set higher than the maximum hardware frequency.
Solution
Check boundary settings:
1. Identify Parameter: The drive usually highlights the parameter causing the conflict.
2. Logical Order: Ensure Max > Min.
3. Reset Group: If you can't find the specific conflict, reset the specific group (e.g., the Motor Group or Protection Group) to defaults.
