rE Run Command Error fault in delta drive troubleshooting

Description

rE is an operator interface error. It appears when the user attempts to press the "RUN" button on the keypad, but the drive parameters are set to expect a Run command from "External Terminals" or "RS-485 Communication".

Causes

1. Wrong Source: Source of Operation (00-21) is set to External Terminals, but operator is pressing Keypad Run.
2. Safety Lock: A digital input set to "Enable Run" is not active.
3. Keypad Lock: The keypad buttons have been disabled via parameter.

Solution

Correct the source:
1. Check Settings: If you want to use the keypad, set "Source of Operation" to "Digital Keypad".
2. Use Switch: If set to terminals, use the external switch to start.
3. Local/Remote: Some drives have a "Loc/Rem" button. Press it to switch control back to the keypad locally.
