SE01 Copy Keypad Error fault in delta drive
SE01 Copy Keypad Error fault in delta drive troubleshooting
Description
SE01 occurs when using the digital keypad (KPC-CC01 or similar) to copy parameters from one drive to another. It indicates the copy process failed or the data in the keypad is incompatible with the target drive.
Causes
1. Model Mismatch: Trying to copy parameters from a 2HP drive to a 5HP drive, or from a C2000 to an MS300. The parameter structures often differ.
2. Keypad Disconnect: The keypad cable was bumped or removed during the copy progress bar.
3. Empty Memory: You selected "Write to Drive" but the keypad memory is empty (no file saved to it yet).
4. Version Conflict: Different firmware versions between source and target drives.
Solution
Procedure check:
1. Check Direction: Ensure you are choosing "Read" (Save to Keypad) on the source drive and "Write" (Load to Drive) on the target.
2. Verify Models: Only copy between identical drive models and firmware versions to guarantee success.
3. Secure Connection: Use a standard RJ45 cable and ensure it doesn't wiggle during the transfer.
4. Manual Entry: If compatibility is the issue, you must manually enter the parameters.
