SE03 Keypad Incompatibility fault in delta drive
SE03 Keypad Incompatibility fault in delta drive troubleshooting
Description
SE03 appears when you plug a keypad into a drive that does not support it. For example, plugging a C2000 advanced keypad into a basic VFD-EL drive, or vice versa, where the memory map versions don't align.
Causes
1. Wrong Keypad Model: Using a KPC-CC01 on a legacy drive.
2. Firmware Gap: The keypad firmware is too new for the old drive.
3. Bad Cable: A shorted data line in the RJ45 cable mimics an ID error.
Solution
Use correct hardware:
1. Verify Model: Check the back of the keypad for the model number and cross-reference with the drive manual.
2. Swap Cable: Test a standard straight-through ethernet cable.
3. Update: Sometimes updating the drive firmware resolves keypad support.
