Description

Indicates a failure with the option card installed in Slot 3. On larger Delta drives (C2000), Slot 3 is often used for Fieldbus cards (Profinet, EtherCAT) or additional I/O.

Causes

1. Communication Loss: The card stopped talking to the drive CPU.
2. Power Issue: The 24V supply to the card is dragging down.
3. Incorrect Install: Pins are bent or the card is not fully seated.

Solution

Hardware reseat:
1. Power Off: Turn off main power.
2. Reseat: Remove and firmly re-insert the card in Slot 3.
3. Isolate: Remove other cards to see if a power issue on Slot 1 or 2 is affecting Slot 3.
