SrC Phase Sequence Error fault in delta drive

SrC Phase Sequence Error fault in delta drive troubleshooting

Description

SrC protects equipment (like scroll compressors) that cannot run backward. The drive monitors the input power phase sequence (R-S-T). If the sequence changes (e.g., R-T-S), the drive trips to prevent the motor from potentially running in reverse (if bypass is used) or indicates a grid wiring change.

Causes

1. Utility Work: The power company changed the lines on the pole.
2. Maintenance: An electrician reconnected the input breaker wires swapped.
3. Generator: Running on a backup generator wired with reverse rotation.

Solution

Swap phases:
1. Swap Input: Power down and swap any two input wires (e.g., Swap R and T).
2. Disable: If the application is not phase-sensitive (like a standard fan), you can disable "Phase Sequence Protection" in the parameters.
