Steps to Resolve the F114 Fault
  1. Cycle Power: The first step is to turn off the main power to the drive, wait for the display to fully go dark and the capacitors to discharge, and then turn it back on.
  2. Check Grounding & Shielding: Excessive common-mode electrical noise inside your cabinet is a primary culprit for microprocessor faults.
    • Ensure the drive is solidly grounded to the mounting panel.
    • Make sure motor cable shields are properly terminated at both the motor and the drive.
  3. Upgrade Firmware: If the fault occurs intermittently, verify your drive firmware is updated.
  4. Hardware Replacement: If the fault persists or returns immediately after power cycling, the internal control module or motherboard has likely failed. You will need to replace the control board or the entire drive unit.
