Fault 3210 in ABB ACS560 Drive ? 3210 fault is DC link overvoltage excessive intermediate circuit DC voltage. 1.Check that the supply voltage matches the nominal input voltage of the drive. 2.Check brake chopper and resistor (if present). Also check DC voltage in DC terminal of drive and compare with actual DC voltage in drive parameter. For more information click here.

Fault 3220 in ABB ACS560 Drive

Image
Fault 3220 in ABB ACS560 Drive ? 3220 fault is DC link undervoltage due to intermediate circuit DC voltage is not sufficient because of a missing supply phase, blown fuse or fault in the rectifier bridge. Check supply cabling & fuses. Check rectifier using multimeter. Check main supply voltage. If input supply is ok then drive rectifier faulty using multimeter. If rectifier and supply are ok then DC sensing circuit faulty. For more information click here

Fault 3381 in ABB ACS560 Drive

Image
Fault 3381 in ABB ACS560 Drive ? 3381 fault is Output phase loss due to Motor circuit fault due to missing motor connection (any of the three phases not connected). 1.Check motor cable. If you run drive with motor of low rating motor as compare to drive then this fault comes. This fault can be disable by parameter Programmable fault: 31.19(Motor phase loss) - 0 (no action/disable) For more information click here

Fault 4210 in ABB ACS560 Drive

Fault 4210 in ABB ACS560 Drive ? 4210 fault is IGBT overtemperature, estimated drive IGBT temperature is excessive. 1.Check ambient conditions. 2.Check air flow and fan operation. 3.Check heatsink fins for dust pick-up. 4.Check motor power against drive power. # Check fan & heatsink(if chocked). Safely open drive and clean heatsink. For more information click here

Difference between oil pressure switch and sensor

Difference between oil pressure switch and sensor  T he two parts are different in their operation but performs the same function. The oil pressure sender is a variable resistor sensor that will increase and decrease resistance as the oil pressure goes up and down. This sensor will control a gauge to go up and down with the pressure. The oil pressure switch will be a closed or open circuit. The switch depending on calibration will close a circuit turning on the oil light on the dash when the oil pressure gets below a set amount or causing a gauge to go to a set reading when you have pressure and drop to nothing if it falls below set limit.

absorbance vs. wavelength

absorbance vs. wavelength   Each  wavelength  has its own color. When  you  see how each  wavelength  of light interacts with the solution on its own,  you can  generate an  absorbance spectrum  ( graph ) for your solution. ... Each color of light interacts with the molecules  and  some part of the light  is  Absorbed, while the rest  is  Transmitted.

Cyclodextrins

Image
Cyclodextrins     Cyclodextrins   are produced from starch by enzymatic conversion. They are  used  in food, pharmaceutical, drug delivery, and chemical industries, as well as agriculture and environmental engineering.  Cyclodextrins  are composed of 5 or more α-D-glucopyranoside units linked 1->4, as in amylose (a fragment of starch).

Negative Resistance Characteristics Diode

Image
Negative Resistance Characteristics Diode  Negative Resistance: In electronics, negative resistance is a property of some electrical circuits and devices in which an increase in voltage across the device's terminals results in a decrease in electrical current through it. A tunnel diode exhibits negative resistance characteristics because this diode is construed with heavily doped p and n regions as result there is no break down effect for reverse voltage and an extremely narrow regions.

Difference Between DC Voltage & AC RMS

Image
VDC(DC Voltage)  Term  DC  is used to refer to  power  systems that use only one polarity of  voltage  or  current , and to refer to the constant, zero-frequency, or slowly varying local mean value of a  voltage  or  current . For example, the  voltage  across a  DC voltage  source is constant as is the  current  through a  DC current  source. AC RMS (AC Voltage) “RMS” stands for Root Mean Square, and is a way of expressing an AC quantity of voltage or current in terms functionally equivalent to DC. For example,  10 volts  AC RMS is the amount of voltage that would produce the same amount of heat dissipation across a resistor of given value as a  10 volt DC  power supply.

What is Fuse ?

Image
What is fuse ?  Fuse is electrical safety device protect electrical circuit or devices from "overcurrent" , "Overload" &  "Short Circuit". Fuse is metal wire that melts & breaks the circuit when too much current flow throw it Once fuse operate it is an open circuit & must be replace or rewired depending on fuse. * Member of circuit breaker family. * Sacrificial device.
