A0098 alarm in WEG CFW500 Drive indicates an Interruption of Self-tuning. This means the drive's automatic motor parameter identification process was halted prematurely by a disabled input command. 

Cause:

  • The drive was disabled via digital input DIx when self-tuning was run (parameter P0408).


Remedy:

Ensure the digital input assigned to keep the drive enabled remains active during the entire self-tuning routine execution.
