A0168 fault in WEG CFW500 Drive

A0168 alarm in WEG CFW500 Drive indicates the Speed Error is too High. This means the actual motor speed is deviating significantly from the commanded speed, usually because the drive is limiting torque. 

Cause:

  • The inverter is operating in Torque Current Limitation mode.


Remedy:

Check if the motor is stalled or heavily overloaded. Verify load status. If appropriate, adjust torque current limits in P0360.
