A0756 fault in WEG CFW500 Drive

A0756 alarm in WEG CFW500 Drive indicates the Remote Reference is not programmed for SoftPLC. This means the main PID controller is active in remote mode, but the speed reference origin is incorrectly set. 

Cause:

  • The main PID controller is enabled (P1017 set to 1 or 2) and the CFW500 frequency inverter is running the motor in REMOTE mode, but parameter P0222 is not programmed for 7.


Remedy:

Set parameter P0222 to 7 if utilizing the PID controller in remote mode.
