A0766 fault in WEG CFW500 Drive

A0766 alarm in WEG CFW500 Drive indicates a Dry Pump Detected. This means the inverter senses high motor speed with unusually low torque, suggesting the pump has lost fluid prime.

Cause:

Parameter P1042 is programmed for 1, the motor speed is above the speed programmed in P1043, and the motor torque has remained below the value programmed in P1044 for the time programmed in P1045.

Remedy:

Verify the fluid flow to the pump and check for blockages or dry lines. Verify the parameter configurations for P1042, P1043, P1044, and P1045.
