A0768 alarm in WEG CFW500 Drive indicates a Broken Belt Detected. This means the inverter senses high motor speed with unusually low torque, suggesting the mechanical transmission belt has snapped. 

Cause:

Parameter P1046 is programmed for 1, the motor speed is above the speed programmed in P1047, and the motor torque has remained below the value programmed in P1048 for the time programmed in P1049.

Remedy:

Check the mechanical coupling belt/pulley state. Verify the parameter configurations for P1046, P1047, P1048, and P1049.
