F0031 fault in WEG CFW500 Drive

F0031 fault in WEG CFW500 Drive indicates a Communication Fault with the Plug-in Module. This means the drive's main control board has lost connection with the attached expansion module. 


Cause:

  • Plug-in module is damaged.
  • Plug-in module is not properly connected/seated.
  • Problem in the identification of the plug-in module (refer to P0027).


Remedy:

Check the physical fit and terminal pin contacts of the plug-in card. Replace the card if damaged. Verify identification parameter P0027.
