oC1 fault in Emotron VSB Drive
oC1 fault indicates Accel overcurrent. This means the inverter's output current has exceeded the safe threshold during the motor's acceleration phase.
Possible Causes:
1: Torque boost is too big under V/f control.
2: Starting frequency is too high.
3: Accel time is too short.
4: Motor parameters are improperly set.
5: Output short circuit (phase-to-phase short circuit or output ground short circuit).
6: Overload is too heavy.
7: Inappropriate V/f curve under V/f control.
8: Restart the rotating motor.
Solutions:
1: Reduce torque boost value.
2: Drop starting frequency.
3: Prolong the Accel time.
4: Set the parameters correctly according to motor nameplate.
5: Check motor connection and output ground impedance.
6: Reduce the load.
7: Set V/f curve correctly.
8: Reduce current limited value or start through speed search.
